In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
Two-piece construction, in white metal, the left piece with a large King's Crown backed by a series of horizontal rules, a belt loop on the left end, the right piece slotted in the centre in order to receive the aforementioned tab, the slotted area surrounded by a circular ring inscribed "NORTHERN RHODESIA POLICE", with a belt loop on the right end, marked with the reverse image of a number "6." on the reverse of the tab, measuring 89 mm (w) x 57.8 mm (h) when linked together, scattered traces of amber-coloured glue evident on both sides, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: In 1953, the creation of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland grouped together Northern Rhodesia, Southern Rhodesia and Nyasaland (now Malawi) as a single semi-autonomous region. This was undertaken despite opposition from a sizeable minority of the population, who demonstrated against it in 1960-1961. Northern Rhodesia was the centre of much of the turmoil and crisis characterizing the federation in its last years. After a push for independence, Northern Rhodesia became the Republic of Zambia on October 24, 1964.
