A First War Memorial Group to the 1st Infantry Battalion CEF - British War Medal (77682  PTE. M.A.LULOFF. 1-CAN. INF.),  Victory Medal (77682  PTE. M.A.LULOFF. 1-CAN. INF.), Pembroke Honour Medal (Presented to Pte. Max A. Luloff 87th Battn CEF France 1919) in bronze, engraved, extremely fine. Service at the Front Badge (90288), and Memorial Plaque (MAX ALBERT LULOFF) near mint contained in original carton, fine. Footnote: Max Albert Luloff was born in Pembroke Ontario in 1896 and worked as a Labourer until he enlisted in the CEF in November 1915. As a member of the 1st battalion, he was killed on September 6th 1917 at the age of 19 years. He is buried at Bully-Grenay Communal Cemetary.
