A First War Medal Trio to the Canadian Army Medical Corps - 1914-15 Star, (50953 PTE. H.A.KEMP C.A.M.C); War Medal (50953 A.SJT.. H.A.KEMP C.A.M.C.); Victory Medal, (50953 A.SJT.. H.A.KEMP C.A.M.C.), with trio ribbon bar, Canada general service cap badge, and 3 CEF veterans pins. Very fine. Accompanied by service records from the National Archives of Canada. Footnote: Horace Arnold Kemp was born February 10th 1873 at Brandon Manitoba. At the time of his enlistment, March 1st 1915, he was listed as a student of Medicine and belonging to the 16th Canadian Field Ambulance, thus leading to his service with the Canadian Army Medical Corps. Throughout his military service overseas, Horace was ill on several occasions. His illnesses were extensive and included multiple cases of Tonsillitis, Influenza, Pleurisy, and Myalgia. He was discharged in 1918 in England due to these persistent and ongoing sets of illnesses.
