In silver gilt, measuring 42.3 mm in width x 57.3 mm in height inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, contact marks, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, accompanied by its Ribboned Rosette, measuring 22.2 mm in width x 13.5 mm in height with button hole attachment, in its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, the exterior with a black lacquer finish, gilt characters on the lid, inside lid lined in violet satin and padded, base in violet satin, with a platform incorporating a recessed medal bed in violet felt, measuring 60.2 mm in width x 89 mm in height x 27 mm in depth.
2. Order of the Rising Sun, VII Class (旭日小綬章 / Kyokujitsu_sho). Instituted in 1875. In silver with green and violet enamels, measuring 31.3 mm in width x 34 mm in height inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, accompanied by its Ribboned Rosette, measuring 22.2 mm in width x 15 mm in height and without attachment, in its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, the exterior with a black lacquer finish, gilt characters on the lid, inside lid lined in violet satin and padded, base with a recessed medal bed in violet felt, measuring 60.5 mm in width x 95 mm in height x 23.5 mm in depth.
3. Order of the Rising Sun, VIII Class (旭日小綬章 / Kyokujitsu_sho). Instituted in 1875. In silver, measuring 30.7 mm in width x 33.7 mm in height inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, contact marks, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, the exterior with a black lacquer finish, gilt characters on the lid, inside lid lined in violet satin and padded, base with a recessed medal bed in violet felt, measuring 61.5 mm in width x 96 mm in height x 27.5 mm in depth.
4. Order of the Sacred Treasure VII Class (瑞宝章, Zuihōshō). Instituted in 1888. In silver gilt, measuring 37 mm (w) x 41 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, scattered gilt wear, contact marks overall, greening evident on the obverse, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, in its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, the exterior with a black lacquer finish, gilt characters on the lid, inside lid lined in violet satin and padded, base with a platform incorporating a recessed medal bed in violet satin, measuring 56.5 mm in width x 92 mm in height x 23 mm in depth.
5. 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal (日露戦争勲章 / Nichirosensō kunshō). Instituted in 1906. In bronze gilt, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, exhibiting spotting and edge nicks, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its balsa wood box of issue, gilt characters on the lid, base with a recessed medal bed in red felt, the box measuring 58 mm in height x 106.5 mm in width x 22.5 mm in depth.
6. China Incident War Medal Award Document (支那事変従軍記章, Sina jihen jūgun kishō). Instituted in 1939. In bronze, measuring 30 mm in diameter, very light contact, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its hardshelled case of issue, silvered characters on the lid, the inside lid housing the award document for the medal, base with a recessed medal bed in navy blue felt, the case measuring 61 mm in width x 110.5 mm in height x 20 mm in depth, exhibiting extensive scuffing and wear on the exterior.

Order of the Golden Kite, VII Class Award Document (Kinshi kunsho): printed in black, red, green and gold inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge, the Order of the Golden Kite 7th Class award in the centre along the bottom edge in colour, both of which are framed within a floral wreath, the framework for the text designed with repeating alternating images of the Imperial Seal and Paulownia flowers in a 5-7-5 configuration and are interlaced with flowers, measuring 582 mm in width x 450 mm in height, rolled, exhibiting a large vertical crease in the centre, in addition to discoloration on the edges from previous board mounting, along with water damage.
8. Order of the Rising Sun, VIII Class Award Document (Kyokujitsu_sho / 旭日小綬章): printed in black and red inks, on a thick off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge, the Order of the Rising Sun 8th Class award in the centre along the bottom edge, both of which are framed within a floral wreath, the framework for the text designed with repeating alternating images of the Imperial Seal and the Order of the Rising Sun award interlaced with flowers, measuring 590 mm in width x 455 mm in height, rolled, lightly soiled at the upper centre.
9. 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal Award Document (日露戦争勲章 / Nichirosensō kunshō): printed in black and red inks, on a thin off-white paper stock, illustrating the Imperial Seal of Japan in the centre along the top edge and framed within a floral wreath, the 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal in the centre along the bottom edge and framed within a trophy of arms, measuring 462 mm in width x 365 mm in height, rolled, exhibiting light creasing and foxing.
10. Naval Award Document: printed in black, red and brown inks, illustrating an insignia above crossed flags at the top, a wide border of cherry blossoms and leafing on all sides, with anchors in all four corners, measuring 402 mm in width x 303 mm in height, rolled, exhibiting tears and creasing on the sides.
11. Award Document: printed in black and red inks, characters in seven columns, on a thick white paper stock, with three vertical folds, measuring 310 mm in width x 228 mm in height, rolled, light soiling.
12. Large Award Document: printed in black and red inks, on a wafer thin white paper stock, measuring 570 mm in width x 428 mm in height, exhibiting holes in multiple locations, a discolouration spot in the centre, along with creasing overall.
13. Small Award Document: printed in black and red inks, on Japanese tissue that is described as a thin white paper stock, measuring 242 mm in width x 223 in height, exhibiting holes, edge wear and creasing.
The seven documents are housed in two balsa wood boxes with a sliding lid, natural look exterior, one with a label affixed to the underside of the lid, the boxes measuring 475 mm in length x 45 mm in width x 45 mm in height each.
(c) Cardboard Box with Assorted Items, including:
(i) two Imperial Japanese Army Sergeant Shoulder Rank Insignia: stiff-framed, each with two silvered bronze stars affixed to a red cotton wrapped base with a horizontal strip in gold-coloured bullion wire, measuring 39.5 mm in width x 17.8 mm in height each.
(iI) Patriotic Women's Association Hospitality/Charity Member's Badge: in red bronze, measuring 24.5 mm in width x 27.5 mm in height inclusive of its integral ring, accompanied by its independent ribbon, the white button hole button having come away from its ribbon.
(iii) Buddhist Medal: in bronze gilt, measuring 26.5 mm in width x 29.5 mm in height inclusive of its integral ring, scattered gilt wear.
(iv) Unidentified Red and White Ribbon with safety pin attachment and a Green Ribbon on a Stickpin.
All in a white cardboard box, labelled in black ink on the sliding lid, measuring 55 mm in width x 67 mm in height x 14 mm in depth, soiled.
(d) The aforementioned items housed in a large hardshelled presentation case, balsa wood frame, the entire exterior and the interior's base with a black lacquer finish, two insignia and gilt characters on the lid, measuring 115 mm in width x 500 mm in height x 100 mm in depth, with a dual strand red cord exiting the case on both sides, both ends finished with a tassel, chipping evident in the black lacquer finish on the lid and the inside lip.
