2. Order of the Rising Sun, VII Class (Kyokujitsu_sho / 旭日小綬章). Instituted in 1875. In silver with green and violet enamels, measuring 31 mm in width x 35 mm in height inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, intact enamels, very light contact, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its hardshelled case of issue, balsa wood frame, the exterior with a black lacquer finish, gilt characters on the lid, inside lid lined in violet satin and padded, base with a recessed medal bed in violet felt, measuring 60 mm in width x 96 mm in height x 23.5 mm in depth.
3. 1900 War Medal (1900 戦争勲章 / 1900 Sensō kunshō). Instituted in 1901. In bronze, measuring 30.2 mm in diameter, exhibiting contact marks and spotting, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its balsa wood box of issue, gilt characters on the lid, base with a recessed medal bed in red felt, the box measuring 57.5 mm in width x 106 mm in height x 21 mm in depth.
4. 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War Medal (日露戦争勲章 / Nichirosensō kunshō). Instituted in 1906. In bronze gilt, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, very light contact, on its original ribbon with hook and eye, in its balsa wood box of issue, gilt characters on the lid, base with a recessed medal bed in red felt, the box measuring 58 mm in height x 105.5 mm in width x 23 mm in depth, missing an end panel.
5. Red Cross Russo-Japanese War Commemorative Medal 1904-1905 (赤十字日露戦争記念勲章 / Sekijūji nichiro sensō kinen kunshō). Instituted in 1905. 12. three Additional Award Documents: two in black and brown inks: one on a standard off-white paper stock, measuring 355 mm in width x 278 mm in height, with fold marks; the other on a thick off-white paper stock, measuring 352 mm in width x 260 mm in height; the third document printed in black and red inks, with seven columns of characters, bearing two stamps (one on either side), measuring 310 mm in width x 227 mm in height, tear evident on the left side and wear along the bottom edge; all three are rolled.
The nine documents are housed in two balsa wood boxes with a sliding lid, natural look exterior, the boxes measuring 475 mm in length x 45 mm in width x 45 mm in height each, both are missing their end lip on the opening end, one box with the end panel at the opening end having come away and has been lost to time.
(c) The aforementioned items are housed in a large hardshelled presentation case, balsa wood frame, the entire exterior and the interior's base with a black lacquer finish, two insignia and gilt characters on the lid, all of which are raised images, measuring 120 mm in width x 500 mm in height x 100 mm in depth, with red cords exiting the case on both sides, one finished with a tassel, the other cord missing its tassel, edge wear and chipping evident in the black lacquer finish on the lid, the inside lip and on the bottom on the base.
