Knight's Cross Preliminary Documents & Photos to a Luftwaffe Officer
Knights Cross of the Iron Cross Preliminary Document Awarded to Leutnant Hans-Joachim Valet, a Luftwaffe Officer Transportflieger (3./Transport-Geschw. 2); dated 20. April 1944, folded, but crisp and without damages, in extremely fine condition; award document for Squadron Clasp for Transport Pilots, gold grade (in very fine condition); a superb War time portrait photo of Valet, large size (12x17cm); and 12 fine photos of Valet and/or his comrades, some taken in Africa, and others from Russian front. Valet received KC for his exploits after 430 successful sorties as a Ju-52 Pilot in both Africa and Russia; for example he flew 59 sorties at Demyansk, more then any other transport pilot.
