Footnote: Reginald Arthur Moore was born on February 23, 1897 in South Moulton, British Columbia. He signed his Attestation Paper with the 131st Battalion "Westminster Battalion", on May 1, 1916 at New Westminster, British Columbia, stating that he had three months Active Militia service with the 104th Regiment, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Stenographer. The Battalion was raised and mobilized in New Westminster under the authority of G.). 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.D. Taylor with a strength of 32 officers and 954 other ranks. Once in England, Moore was placed at General Headquarters, 3rd Echelon, thanks to his skills as a stenogapher.
