WWI 104th Infantry Battalion Cap Badge - Pickled copper, voided, unmarked but known to have been manufactured by Hemsley, 38.3 mm x 47 mm, intact lugs and pin, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in New Brunswick with mobilization headquarters at Sussex under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 19, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G.W. Fowler with a strength of 42 officers and 1,084 other ranks. The Battalion was absorbed into the 13th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded September 15, 1920.
