In silver gilt, a white and red enameled Cross Pattée, featuring a surrounded gilded laurel wreath in each quadrant, with superposed obverse centre featuring a four pointed star in silver, depicting a Peruvian sun surrounded by the inscription PALMAS MAGISTRALES DEL PERU (Peruvian Magisterial Palms), plain reverse with Peruvian hallmark denoting .925 silver purity, and illegible maker’s mark of the National Mint of Peru, Lima (Casa de La Moneda, Lima), measuring 42.88 mm (w) x 47.61 mm (h - inclusive of integral arc), presenting stained enamels and minor toned silver, suspended by a horizontal-hanger on a replacement ribbon, fine.
