A bronze Maltese cross with crossed swords through the center, the obverse medallion presents a left facing portrait of Antonio Narino, the reverse medallion presents an inscription AME A MI PATRIA CUANTO FUE ESE AMOR LO DIRA LA HISTORIA, measures 37.17mm (w) x 48.15mm (h – inclusive of ball suspension), weighs 37.4 (inclusive of ribbon), worn on a red ribbon with bronze buckle, small chip to side of obverse medallion, nice patina, very fine condition.
Footnote: It is currently awarded to member of the Colombian Armed Forces for acts of bravery and devotion to duty within military service, as well as for acts of merit and outstanding service, particularly in the fields of discipline, scientific, research, and other non combat-related areas.
