In silver gilt, consisting of a ball-tipped five-armed star with striped arms, the obverse centre features an engraved Chilean condor within a rayed edge, the condor is superposed by a partially enameled red and blue Chilean shield, with the inscription POLICÍA DE INVESTIGACIONES - CHILE (Investigative Police - Chile), also with enamels, the reverse is plain, the star is surmounted by a laurel wreath suspension, on an original chest ribbon with bar and pinback, measuring 52.43 mm (w) x 76.87 mm (h - inclusive wreath suspension), presenting tarnished silver and chipping on the ball finials, very fine condition. Accompanied by the miniature also in silver gilt with similar design, measuring 21.32 mm (w) x 32.76 mm (h - inclusive wreath suspension), suspended by original chest ribbon with bar and pinback, light contact, extremely fine condition. The set is completed by a hard-shelled blue case with functional push-button, the exterior is completely lined by a blue cloth, the interior lid features white-cream silk, with the bed medal in blue cotton, measuring 85 mm (w) x 28 mm (h) x 136 mm (l), light contact, otherwise very good condition.
