A silver medal with the obverse presenting a depiction of Columbus’s ship the Santa Maria, surrounded by the inscription RECUERDO DEL 4o CENTENARIO DEL DESCUBRIMIENTO DE AMERICA (“Souvenir of the 4o Centenary of the Discovery of America”), the reverse presents a bust of Christopher Columbus in the center, surrounded by the inscription SOCIEDADES UNIDAS OCTUBRE 12 DE 1892 MORON (“United Societies 12 October, 1892 Moron”), measures 28.40mm (w) x 33.90mm (h – inclusive of ring suspension), weighs 11.7 grams (including ribbon), worn on a structured white and blue ribbon, light contact, very fine condition.
