Sale of Items

eMedals is pleased to offer two methods of sale; Direct Online Sale and Auction Direct Online Sale is the process whereby an item is listed for sale online for immediate purchase at a fixed price. eMedals' advanced auction platform operates daily live auctions rather than a single, more traditional brief event. Each item is listed at an agreed upon starting price and it offered for bidding for a duration of 10 -15 days. With an agreed upon commission rate, the auction process continually achieves industry high results by attracting a global audience.

Ownership of Items

Throughout the consignment sale process, please note that eMedals does not any time obtain ownership of your items.
Ownership remains with the consignee until the item is sold at auction or by direct sale. Payment Payment can be issue by Cheque, Paypal, or Wire Transfer. This process is initiated within 30 days after the sale. An invoice can be delivered for each item sold if instructed by the consignee.

Consignment Fees:

All items or lots sold through by consignment are subject to a 20% commission rate. A minimum individual lot value of 180.00 USD is required for all consignment listings. Consignment listings that are not sold are subject to a $35.00 USD withdrawal fee.

Layaway Policy

eMedals is pleased to offer flexible layaway services to all clients. Our layaway program offers the opportunity for clients to make payments on eligible items over period of time.

You may make additional payments at any time by accessing the Layaway section in your account.

Your contract will be automatically cancelled and ordered merchandise will be returned to stock if you have not completed payments in full by the 4 month deadline.

You may pay by cash, check, wire transfer, Paypal, or credit card.

If you no longer desire the specified product, you may cancel your order at anytime by contacting customer service representatives. A refund will be issued of all submitted payments within a 30 day period. There is no cancellation fee.

Auction Process

eMedals is pleased to offer daily auctions that have a duration between 7-14 days. New auctions begin each weekday and each auction lot is available for viewing throughout the course of its given auction period. During this time, a potential bidder is free to ask questions, request additional photographs, and/or forward any inquiries to eMedals staff using the question submission form on the auction page, live chat or emailing our general inbox;info@emedals.com

Bidding Process:

Once registered with an account on eMedals.com, an individual may place a bid on any given auction item(s). We suggest that you bid the maximum amount that you're willing to pay for an item. Our system will place the lowest bid necessary to establish your position as highest bidder. Your maximum bid reflects the amount you're willing to pay for an item, but you could end up paying less. The eMedals auction is designed to replicate the live auction experience as best as can be given its online nature. As such, and as in a live auction setting, when a bid is placed by an individual within the last minute of an auction period, additional time is subsequently granted to allow other bidders to consider their potential bids. In the case of eMedals, if a bid is placed by any auction participant within the last minute of the auction, the auction time is extended by an additional minute.
Please note that all auction lots are subject to an 20% buyers premium added to the final hammer price.

After the Hammer:

Once an auction ends, you will receive an email stating either you have won the item or you were an unsuccessful bidder. If you were indeed the highest bidder, this email will contain a link leading you to our eMedals checkout system. Here, several shipping and payment options are available. .
