In silver, a white and blue enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, crowned doubled headed eagles in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a hand painted saint in green robes, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed троvломb сконмb вbса прнобрвте (One’s Own Work Achieves All), the reverse medallion dated 1883, measures 51.2mm (w) x 86.2mm (h), weighs 53.1 grams, unmarked, both medallions are loose, lovely dark patina, a very attractive decoration in near very fine condition.
Contained in original case of issue, with a light blue exterior marked CB. CABA III., the interior with a cloth lid marked KOVNICA SORLINI VARAZDIN, black velvet recessed medal bed in the base, measures 96mm (w) x 165mm (h) x 30mm (d), clasp functional, light wear and staining, remains in very fine condition.
