In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
Softcover, the front cover with colourized photographs, entitled "Collectors Handbook on German Military Relics (Nazi Regime)", edited by Robert C. Gramberg, copyrighted in 1962 with all rights reserved and printed by Colortone Enterprises of Blue Island, Illinois. This book is typical of the early 1960s issued publications on the subject of Third Reich memorabilia and is published from a 1960s perspective, when the hobby of collecting Third Reich items was just starting to bloom. It begins with a Preface that states: "Most everyone, it seems, has a hobby of sorts. For the collector of military relics relatively few books are available to lend assistance in this field. It is hoped this book will add to the general knowledge and available references now in print." This is followed by a Bibliography, a List of Credits, an Index, a Foreword and a List of the Principal Units of the Nazi Regime (a list of twenty-eight German acronyms and their appropriate designations in English). The book covers items for the military: the Army ("Heer", including the SS), the Air Force ("Luftwaffe") and the Navy ("Kriegsmarine"), along with the police and civil issued items. Though the use of multiple photographs, items are documented, some with brief descriptions, and although the book is published in black, colours of the items denoting certain divisions are noted, where applicable. It features orders, medals, badges, clasps, pennants, flags, armbands, uniforms (both dress and combat), hats, helmets, shoulder boards, patches, breast insignia, collar tab insignia, service badges, cap badges, lapel pins, daggers, membership cards, paybooks, documents, stationery, posters, advertisements, stick pins, belt buckles, among other items. Also included are brief descriptions of the origins and purpose(s) of the Hitler Youth Program, the German Uniform, the S.S. Storm Troopers and the Todt Organization. The book contains 92 pages, printed in black ink, on a thick white paper stock, with a white plastic comb binding, measuring 155 mm (w) x 230 mm (h) x 9 mm (d). It exhibits small blue ink check marks placed beside a few items by the previous owner, the covers exhibiting light wear. Better than very fine.
Reference Guide Shipping Policy: An additional shipping charge may be applicable following the time of purchase due to size, weight, and quantity. Please note that books cannot be shipped via Canada Post Flat Tracked method.
