A lot of seven reference books, including “Das Eiserne Kreuz 1813/1939” (“The Iron Cross 1813/1939”) by Kurt Bauch, constructed of a card stock binding and retaining its original dust jacket. It features 50 pages of text supplemented by black-and-white images. Published in 1941 by E.S. Mittler & Sohn, Berlin, the book measures 155 mm (w) x 215 mm (h). Material fatigue and soiling is evident throughout, and the book is in an overall very fine condition.

 

A copy of “Orden und Ehrenzeichen im Dritten Reich” (“Orders and Honour Badges of the Third Reich”) by Dr. Heinrich Doehle, constructed of a card stock binding and retaining its original dust jacket. The interior consists of 88 pages supplemented by black-and-white images. It was published in 1939 by E.O. Erdmenger & Co. Berlin. The book measures 155 mm (w) x 212 mm (h). Age-appropriate issues are evident, and include deterioration of the dust jacket and fraying of the binding. It is in an overall very fine condition.

 

A copy of “Orden und Ehrenzeichen im Dritten Reich” (“Orders and Honour Badges in the Third Reich”) by Dr. Heinrich Doehle, constructed of a card stock binding and featuring 100 pages of information supplemented by both full-colour and black-and-white images. It was published in 1940 by E.O. Erdmenger & Co., Berlin. Measuring 150 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), it displayed moderate material fatigue, including some wear of the binding and soiling of the exterior. It is in an overall very fine condition.

 

A copy of “Die Orden und Ehrenzeichen des Grossdeutschen Reichs” (“The Orders and Honour Badges of the Greater German Reich”) by Dr. Heinrich Doehle, constructed of card stock bindings and retaining its original dust jacket. It features 128 pages of information supplemented by black-and-white illustrations. It was published in 1941 by E.O. Erdmenger & Co., Berlin. The book measures 155 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), and displays moderate condition issues, including wear of the dust jacket and two post-war library stamps on the interior title page. It is in an overall very fine condition.

 

A copy of “Die Auszeichnungen des Grossdeutsches Reich” (“The Awards of the Greater German Reich”) by Dr. Heinrich Doehle, constructed of a card stock binding and featuring 155 pages of information supplemented by full-colour images. It was published in 1943 by E.O. Erdmenger & Co., Berlin. Measuring 155 mm (w) x 210 mm (h), the book shows significant material fatigue, including total deterioration of its binding and wear throughout. It is in an overall poor condition.

 

The lot also includes two post-war facsimile books, including “Orden und Ehrenzeichen - 25 Juni 1941” (“Orders and Honour Badges - 25 June 1941”), consisting of 256 pages and bound in a card stock binding. Measuring 225 mm (w) x 154 mm (h), it is in an overall extremely fine condition. It is accompanied by “Orden und Ehrenzeicehn - 1 Juli 1943” (“Orders and Honour Badges - 1 July 1943”), consisting of 295 pages and bound in a card stock binding. Measuring 210 m (w) x 150 mm (h), it is in an overall extremely fine condition.
