Hardcover, blackish-blue cloth cover, the text and insignia on the front cover and the text on the spine in a green ink, entitled " The Pay Services of the Canadian Army Overseas in the War of 1939-45", by Captain J.D. Londerville, RCAPC, published by The Runge Press Limited of Ottawa, Ontario for the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps Association of Ottawa in 1950. The inside front and back covers feature maps in blue ink labelled "Routes of RCAPC Units in Mediterranean Theatre" and "Formations of RCAPC Units in NW European Theatre", respectively. In addition, there are ten single page black and white photographs inserted at various locations, between pages 8-9, 36-37, 60-61, 92-93, 124-125, 156-157, 188-189, 220-221, 252-253, 276-277. It begins with a Dedication "To the Unit Pay Sergeants. These comrades were not RCAPC personnel, but all members of the Corps pay tribute to their loyalty and efficiency.", followed by a Foreword by General H.D.G. Crerar (dated November 30, 1948), an Introduction by Captain J.D. Londerville, RCAPC (dated Dominion Day, July 1, 1947 at Peterborough, Ontario), a Table of Contents and a List of Abbreviations.
