Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

RARE M-1903/29 Royal Italian Naval Academy Cadet Dagger

RARE M-1903/29 Royal Italian Naval Academy Cadet Dagger - No maker. Brass hilt fittings show minor surface wear to the floral embellished, knob-like pommel with plain round pommel nut, floral embellished grip straps and short crossguard with lion's head quillon tips. The underside of the crossguard features an oval brass extension which fits over the upper end of the scabbard. The brass scabbard has several minor depressons/"dings" to the lower obverse/reverse shell and edges with obverse shell decorated with a floral and oak leaf motif and an anchor on the upper scabbard between the floral embellished suspension bands. The scabbard tip is decorated with longitudinal grooves. The reverse upper scabbard is stamped with the student accountability number, "354"; see pages 46 and 47 of A Guide to Military Dress Daggers Volume III by Kurt Glemse. Very RARE dagger! (IBIM4139)
