Naming is impressed, very fine. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFootnote: Captain William Michael Victor Banbury of the Rifle Brigade. Captain Banbury was killed in action 17 August 1917. Born in 1885 and educated at Eton, he was gazetted Second Lieutenant on 23rd May 1906, and posted to the 4th Battalion The Rifle Brigade then in Malta. He became Lieutenant on 24th March 1910 and resigned his commission on 23rd November 1912 going on the reserve of officers. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eUpon the war breaking out he was, on September 14th, made a Temporary Captain later serving in the 11th (Service) Battalion the Rifle Brigade then forming. He went to France with his Battalion in the summer of 1915, and on August 17th 1917 when advancing with his Company under a very heavy shell fire, he tried to place a wounded Rifleman under cover and whilst doing so was struck by a shell and killed instantly. \u003cbr\u003eHis Commanding Officer wrote: \"He did splendidly on July 31st.......
