Constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with a silver frame and dark green enameled arms, with a red and green enameled rhombuses completing in a fleur-de-lis set into each quadrant, the obverse bearing a raised and finely-detailed white enameled falcon with featuring highlighted in silver, the reverse with a central blue enameled oval medallion bearing a silver inscription of “VIGILANDO ASCENDIMUS” (“WITH VIGILANCE WE ASCEND”), surrounded by a silver laurel leaf wreath topped by a royal crown, the twelve o’clock arm with an integrated fan suspension connecting to a hollow silver crown, in turn topped by a suspension loop, unmarked, measuring 37.30 mm (w) x 61.21 mm (h) (inclusive of suspension), measuring 18.8 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux purple leather exterior, the interior with a padded blue satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former marked marked “TH.
