Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by NSDAP-style German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas on white enameled discs, overlaid across the three and nine o’clock arms with crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “21” for Gebrüder Godet, Berlin, along with a silver content number of “900”, measuring 49.46 mm (w) x 49.68 mm (h), weighing 32.1 grams, accompanied by a matching boutonniere miniature, constructed of gilded silver with enamels, measuring 14.76 mm (w) x 14.78 mm (h), weighing 2.4 grams, both secreted within an original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated within a gilt border, the interior with a padded white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing a gilt inscription of “DEUTSCHER ADLER ORDEN II.
