Constructed of bronzed aluminum, the obverse consisting of a crescent-shaped plate trimmed along the edges with raised oak leaves, overlaid by a raised and toned NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a pressed brown wool liner, with two downward-pointing clips affixed to the upper corners, in turn accommodating an original multi-link neck chain, each constructed of bronzed aluminum, with the obverse of each link bearing alternating NSDAP eagles and mobile swastikas situated within oak leaf clusters, the gorget double-stamped with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker codes of “M5\/8” for F.W. Assmann \u0026amp; Söhne, Lüdenscheid, the collar double-stamped with RZM logos and maker codes “M1\/17” similarly for F.W.
