Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed and blue enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central blue enameled disc overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn superimposed over a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central blue enameled medallion bearing a silvered inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.76 mm (w) x 47.06 mm (h), weighing 37.7 grams, in extremely fine condition; accompanied by an NSDAP membership book, constructed of a card stock binding with a faux red leather exterior liner, the cover bearing a gilt NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the interior with 48 paginated interior pages, named to “DR.
