WALTER GERARD, CHARLOTTENBURG”, with serial numbers and an additional “GERARD” mark also visible elsewhere on the tube and dial, measuring 26 cm in total length, accompanied by its period original carrying case, constructed of a rigid composite shell with a grey cotton canvas exterior liner, with both the base and lid composed of brown leather, the latter retaining a strap which meets a metal buckle affixed to the obverse for secure closure, the lid stamped with marks of “B.3X” (magnification), “DR.
