Likely of German manufacture with German recipient, an eight-pointed silvered bronze star, each arm composed of clusters of individual rays, obverse centre featuring a medallion with applique bearing a profile of Queen Tamara, measuring 71.21 mm (w) x 70.88 mm (h), reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, tarnishing evident and loss of silver finish to the arms, weighing 37.9 grams, but otherwise in very fine condition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFootnote: The Order of Queen Tamara was a Georgian military decoration granted to members of the Georgian Legion and of the German Caucasus Expedition, who fought in Georgia after November 4, 1918.
