She served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a nursing sister during the Second War. In June 1942, she served on the York and the Stadacona. As of March 29, 1943, she was serving on the Protector. In May 1944, the Avalon. In 1945, she served aboard the Cornwallis, Stadacona, and Star. She was discharged on December 13, 1945.
