A pristine and very rare special grade, representative of a Grand Cross, composed of silver gilt presenting a six pointed white enamel star with a singular small pearl set in the tip of each arm, in the knee sits a small silver gilt triangular fan, the obverse medallion bears a double headed black eagle on a red enamel field, surrounded by a red enamel ring inscribed BESE E BASHKIM (Fidelity and Union), the reverse medallion inscribed in the red enamel ring with the date of establishment (ME 26 TE MARSIT 1914), measures 46mm (w) x 55.6mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), weighs 25.9 grams (including ribbon), worn on original ribbon, very minor contact, an extremely rare decoration in extremely fine condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFootnote: The Grand Cross was the only award constructed with white enamels.
