Silver, maker marked "M K" and engraved "R.N.A.S." (Royal Naval Air Service) on the obverse, marked "SILVER" and stamped "D.861" on the reverse, 25 mm x 43 mm, horizontal pinback, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Royal New Zealand Returned and Services' Association, often referred to as the Returned Services' Association but best known simply as the RSA, is one of the largest voluntary welfare organizations in New Zealand and one of the oldest ex-service organizations in the world. Wounded soldiers returning from the Gallipoli Campaign founded the organization in 1916 as the Returned Soldiers Association, the organization receiving royal patronage in 1920.
