(Tapferkeitskreuz). A Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland (National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands) Mussert Bravery Cross, constructed of gilded bronze, a Maltese cross in red and black enamels, with crossed swords between the arms, the obverse centre medallion presents a golden mobile swastika, Wolfsangel, and oak leaf stems over a white-enameled background, the reverse centre presents a similar enamelled medallion, bearing the legend MUSSERT 1941 and circumscribed by HOU EN TROU and oak leaf branches, measures 37.43 mm (w) x 41.49 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, edges of cross show minimal enamel loss, and in overall better than very fine condition.
