What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A French-Made Order of Independence (Al Istiklal); Commander's Set - Neck Badge (three-piece construction, silver gilt and white enamels, hallmarked on the reverse of the sword and wreath suspension, 41 mm x 65 mm inclusive of its sword and wreath suspension, on neck ribbon with hook and eye); Breast Star (three-piece construction, silver gilt and white enamels, hallmarked on the pin, 82.8 mm x 87.5 mm, vertical pinback, crazing in the enamels on the tips of two star points); Miniature (three-piece construction, silver gilt and white enamels, 18.8 mm x 31 mm inclusive of its sword and wreath suspension, rosette sitting on two-tone strap sewn to the ribbon, horizontal pinback marked "A B PARIS" (Arthus Bertrand); and Rosette (9.3 mm, on two-tone strap with black buttonhole attachment). Extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Jordanian coat-of-arms on the lid, maker marked "ARTHUS BERTRAND" on the inside white satin lid, recessed medal bed, dual latch closures, case also extremely fine. Footnote: Founded by King Hussein Bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca and King of Hejaz as an award for civil or military merit. The order can be bestowed upon foreigners and comes in five classes.
