(Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker 1. Klasse in Gold). Constructed of gilded tombak, presents as an eight-pointed gold star, the obverse depicts a six-leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon and ringed by a ribbed border, the reverse plain with a vertical banjo-style slender pinback, unmarked, measuring 49.45 mm (w) x 49.36 mm (h), weighing 18.8 grams, in very fine condition, accompanied by its period original case, constructed of cardstock with faux black leather exterior, stamp of medal embossed in gold on lid, interior with satin-type lid liner and black felt slotted medal bed, functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release, functional magnetic metal hinge, measuring 69 mm (w) x 67 mm (l) x 24 mm (h), in very fine condition.
