(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP). An extremely well-preserved Golden Party Badge, small version, constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central black mobile swastika on a white enameled disc, within a red enameled ring bearing an inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, stamped with a NSDAP membership number of “85334” for an unidentified individual, unmarked but with the characteristics of manufacture by Joseph Fuess, Munich, measuring 24.23 mm in diameter, weighing 7.7 grams, with only minor flecking of enamels evident, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Detlev Niemann, an exceptionally well-preserved example in extremely fine condition.
