A lot of decorations, including an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Non-Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918’, the reverse marker marked “N. & H.” for Noelle & Hueck, Lüdenscheid, measuring 37.28 mm (w) x 41.68 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams, in extremely fine condition, accompanied by a ribbon bar, measuring 25 mm in length, in fair condition; a Marine Korps Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed and crowned anchor, the arms bearing an inscription of “ZUR SEE IM FELDE UNBESIEGT” (“ON LAND AND IN THE FIELD UNDEFEATED”), the reverse bearing a central wreathed Reichskriegsflagge, topped by a lion rampant, the arms bearing an inscription of “MARINE-KORPS 1914/18”, unmarked, measuring 40.37 mm (w) x 45.58 mm (h), weighing 23.1 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux leather exterior, the interior with a padded white rayon lid liner and a slotted black velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 55 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition; a 25-Year Long Service Clasp, constructed of silvered bronze, affixed to a bronze backplate with a vertical pinback and period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), accompanied by its period original presentation cae, constructed of a card stock frame with a faux red leather exterior, the interior with a white satin lid liner and depressed black velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 68 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition; a Kaiser Wilhelm II 70th Birthday Clasp, constructed of silvered bronze, affixed to a bronze backplate with a vertical pinback and period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 36 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a commemorative medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 18.56 mm in diameter, weighing 5.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a Prince Henry of Prussia clasp, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 39.46 mm (w) x 18.72 mm (h), weighing 2.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a monarchist badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “A. STÜBBE, BERLIN”, measuring 25.92 mm (w) x 19.19 mm (h), weighing 5.6 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Stahlhelm stick pin, constructed of silvered bronze, unmarked, in extremely fine condition; a centrepiece from a Saxon Order of the Rue Crown, constructed of gilded silver with multi-coloured enamels, unmarked, measuring 35.60 mm in diameter, weighing 17.5 grams, in very fine condition; a centrepiece from a Ludwig Order, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, unmarked, measuring 34.66 mm in diameter, weighing 11.1 grams, in very fine condition, and; a pilot’s cap badge, constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse presenting as a pair of wings overlaid by a crowned monogram, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 79.43 mm (w) x 41.12 mm (h), weighing 10.4 grams, accompanied by an envelope with a partially-legible inscription ending in “MÜTZEN ABZEICHEN” (“CAP BADGE”), embossed with a seal of Prince Waldemar, measuring 120 mm (w) x 95 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.

A commemorative glass and silver jar. Constructed of a glass structure, the top features a silver frame and lid. Bearing a monogram on the exterior, the edge of the frame features an engraved inscription of “DIE TISCHGESELLSCHAFT IHREM SCHEIDENDEN EHRENMITGLIEDE ZUR ERINNERUNG AN SEINE ZUGEHÖRIGKEIT À LA SUITE” (“THE DINNER PARTY OF YOUR OUTGOING HONORARY MEMBER ENGRAVED”). The reverse bearing an engraved silver content number of “800, a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, and a silversmith mark of “W. MEZGER”. It measures 110 mm (w) x 86 mm (l) x 65 mm (h) and is in an overall extremely fine condition.

A personalized notebook, constructed of a polished bone frame. The front cover bears a raised and highly-detailed monogram, while the reverse cover features a similarly detailed owl perched on a branch bearing an inscription of “DEM KAUZ” (“THE OWL”). It locks closed with rayon ribbons through which is inserted an accompanying bone pencil. The interior features non-paginated, unused blank note paper with gilt trim. Unmarked, the notebook measures 70 mm (w) x 110 mm (h). Yellowing of the pages is evident, along with some deterioration of the binding. It is in an overall near extremely fine condition.

A signet stamp, constructed of a polished bone handle completing in a magnetic metal head bearing integrated monograms. Unmarked, it measures 22 mm (w) x 70 mm (h). The stamp is accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux white leather exterior. It opens with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge. The interior features a white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, as well as a slotted white velvet bed. A maker’s mark of “M. HANSEN, HOFJUWELIER, KIEL” is set onto the lid liner. It measures 118 mm (w) x 60 mm (l) x 35 mm (h) and is in an overall extremely fine condition.

A pair of portraits, including one depicting a prince of the Hohenzollern dynasty, wearing a number of decorations including the Order of the Red Eagle. It is set within a silver frame, retaining an intact glass face, measuring 88 mm in diameter. Some denting and tarnishing is evident, but the image remains sharp and the portrait is in a better than very fine condition. Also included is a silhouette portrait of an unidentified individual, set within an ornate gilt frame. The reverse features a suspension loop. Unmarked, it measures 62 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), and is in an overall better than very fine condition.

An Imperial Russian salt cellar, constructed of silver. It consists of a chest with a ribbed exterior, opening with a lid on a swivel hinge and topped by a perforated shaker. The lid features an inscription in pre-revolutionary Russian Cyrillic orthography of “БЕЗЪ ХЛѢБА, БЕЗЪ ОБѢДА, ПОЛОВИНА ОБІДА” (“WITHOUT SALT, WITHOUT BREAD, ONLY HALF A MEAL”). It is double-stamped with a silver zolotnik mark of “84” for 875 silver content, a symbol of the city of Moscow, a date of “1870”, and a silversmith mark of “ВС” (“VS”), possibly for Viktor or Veniamin Savinsky. It measures 46 mm (w) x 34 mm (l) x 58 mm (h) and weighs 64.4 grams. This unique piece of Imperial Russian tableware is in extremely fine condition.

A plain shallow Imperial Russian dish, constructed of silver. Oval shaped, it is plain with the exception of an exterior side inscription of “XMAS 1896”. The bottom is stamped with a silver zolotnik mark of 84 for 875 silver content, a Romanov royal warrant, a symbol of the city of St. Petersburg, and a silversmith mark of “БР. ГРАЧЕВЫ” for the famous silverware firm of the Grachev Brothers (operational between 1866 and 1918). It measures 182 mm (w) x 136 mm (l) x 40 mm (h). With only minor tarnishing evident, the dish is in an overall extremely fine condition.

A large Imperial Russian lacquered wooden case. Crafted with scalloped edges, the lid bears a highly detailed painted image of a scene of rural life in an Imperial Russian village, with figures in folk costumes. It opens to reveal a hollow red-painted interior, with the lid bearing a Romanov royal warrant. The case retains a functional hinge, but only retains parts of its original locking mechanism, with the key also lost to time. It measures 218 mm (w) x 170 mm (l) x 72 mm (h). In addition to the broken lock, there is minor scratching and scuffing evident to the exterior. It is in an overall very fine condition.

A pair of letters, including a handwritten letter to Prince Waldemar from Field Marshal Paul von Hindenburg, dated 28 December 1927 and featuring a handwritten signature. It measures 222 mm (w) x 286 mm (h) and, with some folding creases, is in an overall better than very fine condition. Also included is a letter to Prince Waldemar from his uncle, Kaiser Wilhelm II. Dated 20 March 1935, the typewritten letter sends birthday greetings to the former and wishes him the best for his difficult health condition (hemophilia). It features the Kaiser’s handwritten signature. Measuring 222 mm (w) x 285 mm (h), it displays some folding creases, but is in an otherwise extremely fine condition.

Also included is a large lot of unissued stamps and seals bearing Prince Waldemar’s monogram. With both circular and rhomboid examples, the seals from the Prince’s personal correspondence are in an overall extremely fine condition.
