Dark patina on the BWM, light contact, original ribbons, on suspension with swing barpinback, as worn by the veteran, very fine. Footnote: Second Lieutenant H.B. Mills was documented in the "London Gazette" of December 9, 1919 and "Flight" (First Aero Weekly in the World, Official Organ of the Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom) of December 18, 1919 as one of 158 officers transferred to the Unemployed List, on November 13, 1919, having had to relinquish his command "on account of ill-health contracted on active service" and being permitted to retain his rank.
