Instituted 23 February 1748. Issue 1873-1975. A rectangular hardshell case, the exterior is constructed of a textured red cardstock, the lid is embossed with gilt detailing, the bottom exterior of the case bears a yellow sticker that reads “K2 S.O” (indicating the case is for a Royal Order of the Sword Commander II Class), with hinges and latch intact, the interior lif is of a white satin material marked “C.F. Carlman KONIGL.HOF ORDENSJUVELERARE STOCKHOLM 15 REGERINGSGATAN 15”, with a raised deep red velvet platform with a recessed medal bed, measuring 90.65 mm (w) x 129.65 mm (l) x 39.96 mm (h), very minor material fatigue due to age, otherwise in extremely fine condition.
