Multi-piece construction, in bronze gilt with white, red and green enamels, handpainted centrepiece on the obverse, measuring 53.7 mm (w) x 59.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, on its original full-length neck ribbon; and Miniature: in bronze gilt with white and green enamels, handpainted centrepiece on the obverse, measuring 16 mm (w) x 19.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon. Together, extremely fine. Accompanied by its Rosette, measuring 10.5 mm in diameter with button hole attachment, in their hardshelled case of issue, maroon thatch-textured exterior, bronze shield bearing the Republic of San Marino coat-of-arms affixed to the lid, inside lid in white satin and padded, insert placed in the base with the medal bed in maroon felt with recessed areas to house the badge, miniature and rosette, measuring 134 mm (w) x 149 mm (h) x 26 mm (d), with light wear on all the edges and corners on the exterior, case better than very fine.
