Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension with its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised monogram of Tsar Alexander I, the reverse with a Russian Cyrillic inscription of “ЗА ПРОХОДЪ ВЪ ШВЕСІЮ ЧРЕЗЪ ТОРНИО 1809” (“FOR THE PASSAGE TO SWEDEN THROUGH TORINO 1809”), unmarked, measuring 28.92 mm in diameter, weighing 11.5 grams, much of the reverse inscription has been rendered illegible due to material fatigue, in overall very fine condition.
