Latvia, Republic. An Engineer/Pioneer Regiment Badge, c.1930
In bronze and multi-coloured enamels, the obverse centre bears a six pointed white enamel medallion, the inside reads “1921” on a black enamel background, the arms of the cross are black enamel and a shovel and an axe lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and bears a screwback, the plate is marked but due to rusting is illegible, measuring 43.08 mm, fine.
