Italy (Kingdom); Grand Cross Badge: Gold with red, white, blue, green and black enamels, unmarked, 50.5 mm, on its original full-length sash; and Breast Star: Gold with red, white, blue, green and black enamelled insignias, mounted to an eight-pointed silver star base, 79.5 mm x 80 mm, vertical pinback. Intact enamels, extremely fine. Accompanied by a typewritten Award Card with tri-colour ribbon, the card inscribed "Vice Admiral / Sir Lionel Halsey / Comptroller and Treasurer to the Prince of Wales", in their hardshelled case of issue, cypher of King Victor Emmanuel III on the lid, maker marked "CRAVANZOLA ROMA" on the inside lid, raised platform with recessed and slotted medal beds, scuffing and wear evident on the exterior, case better than very fine.
