What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

In cupro-nickel, obverse illustrating a liberty ship framed in the cross-hair of a German U-boat periscope with the inscription "FOR SERVICE IN THE ARCTIC ZONE" above, reverse illustrating four figures representing merchant seamen, Royal Naval, Army and RAF personnel and inscribed "THE ARCTIC CAMPAIGN" above, measuring 36 mm in diameter, original ribbon with pinback, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, manufacturer's label inscribed "ARCTIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL / AWARD PRODUCTIONS LTD / SURREY" and numbered "2401" affixed to the bottom, black felt recessed medal bed, case also extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The award was proposed by the Russian Convoy Club in conjunction with the North Russia Club, who are the beneficiaries of the project. It was issued in 1991 for award to personnel of Russian convoys.
