This is a very well-preserved edition of “British Military Firearms: 1650-1850”, by Howard L. Blackmore. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding, and retains its paper stock dust jacket, with the obverse exterior bearing a black-and-white photograph of an array of flintlock pistols, circumscribed by author and title. The reverse of the exterior bears a brief description of the book’s contents. The interior content consists of 296 white paper pages featuring a detailed history of British rifles, flintlock pistols, and early revolvers, supplemented by an array of black-and-white photographs. It was published in 1961 by Herbert Jenkins, Ltd., of London. Material fatigue is evident to the dust jacket, but the book is in an overall near extremely fine condition.
