Germany, DRK. A German Red Cross (DRK) Sister’s Badge for 10 Years of Service

(DRK-Schwesternkreuz nach 10 Dienstjahren). Constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central white enameled medallion bearing a DRK-style German national eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika and clutching a red enameled Geneva Cross in its talons, the reverse with an unidentified maker’s mark, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop connecting to a replacement chain constructed of sterling silver, measuring 48.88 mm (W) x 55.48 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
