Constructed of bronzed feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a Wolfsangel rune, with a central mobile swastika overlaid by a crossed sword, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “M1/100” for Werner Redo, Saarlautern, measuring 47.25 mm (w) x 59.82 mm (h), weighing 24.1 grams, some loss of finish is evident and the lower tip of the pinback has broken off, in overall very fine condition.
