Constructed of gilt bronze and black enamels; the obverse with a center mobile swastika, circumscribed “Für Leistungen in der HJ” (German - For Proficiency in the HJ), with a black enameled ring, an upward pointing arrow superimposed on the badge, with a laurel wreath border; the reverse with a vertical pinback and a functional hinge/catch assembly; marked “B”, and maker marked “RZM M1/101” for “Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen” on the reverse; measuring 39.71 mm (w) x 50.93 mm (h); weighing 38.3 grams; in overall very fine condition.
