A fantastic example of the Honor Goblet to a true fighter ace. In Alpaca, by official maker Wagner and Sohn, engraved OBERLEUTNANT OTTO DECKER 31.8.42, with a pleasing patina, better than extremely fine. Accompanied by two original period photographs of Decker. Footnote: Oberleutnant Otto Hannes Decker gained 40 air victories during both the battles of France and Britain, as well as on the Russian front. A JG52 Pilot, Decker flew around Stalingrad and was KIA there on August 27th 1942.
