An Extensive WWII Group to Johann Beckers Serving Aboard U-36 - Obermascinenmaaten serving abroad U-36, comprising: U-boat badge, fine early quality in tombac, unmarked, head of eagle slightly "cut off" (due to manufacturing defect), with award document, dated 7 Apr 1940; Spanish Cross in Bronze with Swords, unmarked, very fine quality in bronze, extremely fine, with large award document, dated 6 Jun 1939; U-boat clasp, bronze, maker marked, extremely fine; Iron Cross Second Class 1939, marked "65" on ring, with award document, dated 7 Apr 1940; War Merit Cross Second Class, bronze, with award document dated 30 Jan 1945; award document for Commemorative Medal 1 Oct 1938, dated 30 Jun 1940; award document for Army Long Service Award Fourth Class, dated 1 Jul 1937 (this one awarded while he was in U-Boat School, all other awarded when he was Submariner); Soldbuch, with photo, full of entries, all awards entered; few other minor original documents; awards generally very fine or better, documents generally very fine; Soldbuch very fine. Nearly complete grouping, thus very scarce.
