What's a max bid?

RZM SS Dagger by Robert Klaas

RZM SS Dagger by Robert Klaas - Measuring 371 mm in length with the scabbard on, this SS Dagger is engraved "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" on the blade, marked with the RZM insignia, maker marked "M7/37" (Robert Klaas, Solingen-Ohligs) and marked "RZM 1051/38" with the SS runes on the reverse ricasso. The blade has beautiful crossgraining, exhibiting the usual in and out runner marks, with sharp edges and a very sharp tip, exhibiting surface wear spots on both sides, the blade measuring 221 mm in length and rating very fine. Nickel plated fittings on both crossguards, exhibiting light contact. Ebony-coloured wooden handle is chipped where it meets the lower crossguard and has experienced crazing around the SS insignia and chipping on both sides where it butts the upper crossguard. Embedded aluminum eagle shows nice detail and rates very fine. The SS insignia exhibits light contact, pommel remains tight and is engraved with the interlocking initials "EH" on the end, the dagger measuring 349 mm in length. The nickel-plated scabbard fittings exhibit light contact marks, the locket held in place via two screws, moderate dents on the chape and ball finial, exhibiting surface wear and black paint loss on the body, dagger hanger ring suspended from the locket, the scabbard measuring 245 mm in length. Very fine.
