Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Numbered 1933 EM-SS Dagger with Rare Exclamation Mark (!)

Here is a rare example of the 1933 pattern SS dagger by the seldom seen exclamation mark, by maker Carl Jacobs & Co. (RZM M7/29). This transitional dagger dates from around 1937 and remains in overall very fine condition. The upper and lower crossguards are of plated nickel-silver variety, and aside from usual wear marks remain in fine condition. Lower crossguard is numbered 146730 - and I have done research on the owner of this dagger. The black ebony grip is free from wood chipping, and exhibits only one tiny wood crack atop of SS runes (hardly visible); aluminum eagle and SS runes are problem free, in very fine condition. The blade has RZM M7/29 mark on reverse (for Jacobs & Co.); obverse bears SS-motto "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue !" with the exclamation mark to the end of the motto; the blade is free of rust and pitting but it appears to be slightly sharpened on one side of the blade long time ago, and tip of the blade looks cleaned. The blade rates being in good to fine overall condition. The anodized scabbard shell is straight throughout and features all nickel silver upper and lower fittings. It exhibits moderate wear and small nicks and scratches due to wear, but no dents or major issues. The scabbard retains most of its original black finish. Attached to scabbard is a hanger, in good condition. This dagger comes with extensive search file (photocopied, about 30 pages, with his uniform photo, in German), indicating owner (SS number 146730) as SS Obersturmfhrer Hanns Schneider, from Hanover.
