Late Army Officer Dagger - Marked WKC

This is a classic WKC example. Fittings of this dagger are in the all-gray late finish. It is in excellent condition throughout, and does not look to have really ever been worn. The pommel and the crossguard are exhibiting hardly any wear, with crisp details; eagle has outstanding detail to its head, eye, breast feathering, wing feathering, talons, wreath, and raised swastika, with the original gray finish is easily 100% intact. The grip of this example is a pumpkin-orange variety, without cracks or chips, in very fine condition. The scabbard is magnetic, straight and crisp throughout the pebbled panels. The bands have fine overlapping oakleaves and are still nice and crisp. The blade of this example is bright and shiny, with 100% crossgraining and retaining its needle-like tip; in near mint condition. The dark brown leather washer is the large type used by this maker.
