Constructed of silvered feinzink, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 48.13 mm (w) x 47.97 mm (h), weighing 21.8 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux black leather exterior, the exterior lid bearing a silver Maltese Cross, the interior with a white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted black felt medal bed, opening with a functional magnetic metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), some loss of silver finish evident to the cross, in overall near extremely fine condition.
